Saturday 12-15-2012

It is Saturday again. 10 days until Christmas and my cabin fever is driving me bananas...muppets reference anyone???

Well anyway. As expected. No one is here. And I am playing on the interwebs.

I doze off for a minute or so. But then I felt bad, so I woke up. Only 1 hour and 20 minutes left until my weekend. It is snowing, but melting, so life is happy in regards to the weather.

I have mixed feelings about using Microsoft Paint for the Haiku drawings. It is harder to control but I like playing with the bright colors. So I guess we will just have to deal with it until a magical fairy comes to fix my scanner.

Until then. I'm over it.

Love,
Michelle

Thursday 12-13-2012

I am so so SO sorry for not uploading a haiku sooner. My work scanner died. So as you can see I made one in Microsoft Paint! Yahooooooooooo!

Okay but today is actually a big deal.

I got.
A.
BONUS!!!

It was awesome. I mean, it wasn't like a super amount or anything. But hey...its FREE MONAY! So I took it.

When I found it on my desk and picked it up...and opened it... I felt like Link in the game of Zelda.

I mentally took the envelope and raised it above my head and this AMAZING tune started playing... you know the one...

Na na na NAAAaaaaah!

IT WAS AWESOME!

But yeah, I know my paint drawing makes me look like a Christmas Elf... but I am suppose to be Link. Although, he could totally pass as a Christmas Elf. Just sayin.

Meh.

Love always,
Michelle

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EeeeRYBODY (tomorrow)!!!

Man oh man, I feel like such a slacker. I know I missed two days already of fantastic Haiku sharing. And for that, I am sorry. You see. The office is changing. Literally. Everyone changed offices. The loud one is not longer 10 feet away from me. At first I thought this would be a good change... but then I started to think about how many Haiku subjects I am going to be missing out on. I need to find some sort of new entertainment. But what?!?! This place is actually turning into a work place. Weird.

Love, Michelle.

p.s. Happy Birthday Mom! :)

11/15/2012 - Thursday

I am not going to be working this Saturday (which means no Haiku on that day) because I will be in St. George having a wonderful early Thanksgiving with my brother, sister, her baby belly, and her husband at my Grandparent's house. They are driving down from Seattle and I just cannot wait to see them.

So of course... this is making work more difficult. Not only am I sitting here...doing nothing. I am thinking about how much fun this weekend is going to be and how I am still sitting at work for 2 more hours.

Meh.

Sorry this post is not that much fun. Or funny for that matter. I have other things on my mind...

Love, Michelle

11/14/2012 - Wednesday

So the top right kind of got cut off... but I am way to lazy to scan it again. So sorry. But here is what it says (just in case you all cannot figure it out on your own)  ...

Chicken salad joy,
Moving around offices,
I am just a fly.

Basically this was my day. I ate a chicken salad croissant. And I watched everyone move offices. It was a successful day at work.

Love, Michelle.

11/13/2012 - Tuesday

Happy happy day it is!!! Let the trumpets roar and the angels sing!

Hallelujah!

Hallelujah!

The loud one is moving offices... far far way from my desk. I never knew I could be so happy. I could honestly cry.   - BUT -  this means that the Haiku created may suffer from the loss of such a constant muse.

.... This fly on the wall may need to do some flying around ...

11/12/2012 Monday

I thought I would take this time to address a situation that is becoming more and more of a problem everyday. You see, many people do not know this but... well... gosh how do I put this. ...

buildings

have

feelings

too...

Just putting it out there. I know that lots of you, like myself have been ignorant to building's feelings. And I do not blame you! It was not until someone in my office got so angry they were being told what to do that they walked stomped up the stairs!

And you know what happened next?

The stairs talked to me.

"Let me remind you, the stairs are not for stomping..."

It was very sad, and I have to admit it, I even saw a tear fall its short distance to the ground. So please, people of this world, be aware of the feelings of buildings we abide in. They deserve respect too.

11/10/12 Saturday

So yesterday/last night it snowed. A. LOT. And to add to the wonderful feelings I have about the snow. I had cleaning checks in my apartment this morning. So...I had to clean last night. But of course I just had to do other things first. You know... like... go to a party... oh yeah.. and then to the dollar theater.. OH CRAP! It's 1 am.

Oops...

clean clean clean. sleep sleep sleep. alarm alarm alarm. no food no food no food.

FOOT OF SNOW ON MY CAR THAT IS REALLY HARD TO GET OFF AND THEREFORE MAKING ME LATE FOR WORK ON AN EMPTY STOMACH AND LITTLE SLEEP!!!

meh.

Thank you french toast fairy who left me a treat on my desk this morning. Now if only I could eat it in peace.

Love, Michelle

11/08/2012 - Thursday

This was about today ... and yesterday ... and last week  ... ..  and everyday actually. I know everything in this office.

If you sneeze, I'll hear you.

If you fart, I'll hear you.

If you talk about someone behind their back and try to get them fired because you have a self confidence issue you are trying to cover up because no one likes or respects you and you don't know how to do your job without scaring people away...
                                                                                   ...  I'll hear you.

Just saying. Watch your back.

Love, Michelle

11/7/2012 - Wednesday

Goodbye social life.
Extend my hours again.
Create Haiku blog.

Hello.

My name is Michelle. I work at a job that allows me to spend meaningless hours of time goofing around in front of the computer screen. When I am not on the phone with the average 4 phone calls I get a day, I am on the internet, stalking friends on Facebook, or pinning the latest recipe I will never try. Today my boss told me that they feel it is necessary to extend my hours yet again because it is "so busy" when I leave to go home.

Although I am excited for the advance in weekly income, I know that in keeping me at my desk for even more hours to come will in return drive me completely bonkers. This is why I have decided to make a new project for myself. A blog. But not just any blog, a Haiku blog! Which might just be the best and most used idea for a blog ever. So above is my first Haiku. First of soon to be many more to come. The plan for this blog, if I may share, is to not only create one Haiku per workday, but to also create a corresponding doodle to upload with it.

Today there is not one.

Because I do not yet have a USB cord long enough to connect the Front Desk's scanner to the computer. I cannot create such beauty so soon...But do not fret! The Business Manager has ordered me one. So I will be able to make this blog my greatest work place accomplishment ever! Until then, please enjoy my small, yet full of intellectual meaning, daily Haiku.

Sincerely,Michelle
